ACA's National Chiropractic Health Month 2022

Chiropractic: On the Frontline of Pain will promote the use of non-drug approaches such as chiropractic services as a first line of defense against pain. Raising public awareness and improving access to non-drug options for pain management continue to be important strategies in the fight against prescription opioid overuse and abuse. The Texas Chiropractic Association is pleased to join the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) in celebrating National Chiropractic Health Month in October 2022.
TCA Sets Record with Chiropractic Health Month Proclamations

What is Texas Chiropractic Health Month?
Texas Chiropractic Health Month is a statewide observance held each October. The event helps to raise public awareness of the importance of musculoskeletal health and the benefits of chiropractic care and its natural, whole-person, patient-centered and drug-free approach to health and wellness. It also promotes the quality healthcare provided by the nearly 7,000 Texas chiropractors across the Lone Star State. TCA members racked up more than 60 proclamations from cities and towns across in Texas. This was, by far, the most of any state and nearly double the number from TCA’s previous best. Way to go!
A huge thank you to Governor Greg Abbott for issuing a statewide proclamation to kick things off, in addition to all the mayors, city council members, and local officials who recognized chiropractic. With the opioid epidemic that is raging, chiropractic care is more relevant than ever.
Under Dr. Oteo’s leadership, we received the following proclamations:
