In March of 2018 the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners (TBCE)  published proposed rules changes as reported here.  On June 19, 2018, those reported changes were adopted by the TBCE.

Rules effected are rule 78.3 Rules of Practice;  rule 78.5 Duty to Respond to Complaint and Request for Information or Records; rule 78.7 Public Interest Information; and rule 78.8 Complaint Procedures.

The currently adopted rules may be found at the above links. These rules were deemed necessary to reflect implementation of 2017 Sunset Commission legislation, SB 304, which dissolved the Board’s statutory requirement to regulate and/or register chiropractic facilities, effective September 1, 2017. The purpose of the amendments is to remove the reference of regulation of facilities and facility owners stated in the rule.

The Texas Chiropractic Association, the premier chiropractic organization in Texas, safeguards the chiropractic profession through committed service, attention to public health, integrity, respect and optimism.
