While everyone appreciates a gift at this time of year, we all know the true reason for the season. The holidays are also all about spending quality time with family and friends. So, forget about Amazon or a trip to your local shopping center. If you’re looking for the perfect holiday gift, why not give the gift of chiropractic through the Texas Chiropractic Association?

Here’s a few suggestions:

1)      Purchase a TCA membership for your associate or a colleague who isn’t currently a TCA member.
You may want to buy memberships for new doctors who are in their first few years of practice. It’s one way to get them actively involved in YOUR state association … and that will only make the profession stronger.
Complete the membership application and return it by mail, email or fax. Let us know you are purchasing a member for someone else. When you sign up your associate or a colleague, TCA will notify the doctor about your gift.

2)      Upgrade your TCA membership to a Premium or Elite membership.
Either way, it’s a great value!
As a Premium member, your 16 CE hours will be included in the price of membership. If you go the Elite route, you’ll have unlimited access to all three TCA conferences in 2018 – Mid-Winter Conference (March 9-11, Overton Hotel & Conference Center, Lubbock), Texas Sports Chiropractic Conference (April 6-8, Texas Chiropractic College, Pasadena) and Chiro Texpo ’18, TCA’s annual convention (June 8-10, Hyatt Regency Dallas, Dallas). You can pay monthly or quarterly. Complete the Premium application or Elite application and return it by mail, email or fax.

3)      Get your full team involved in TCA.
You can sign them up for the Non-DC Membership (Chiropractic Assistant/Staff). Or, register them for CA/staff training to be offered at all three TCA conferences.
Why do this? It shows you are invested in your employees’ success and it’ll give your CA and staff the tools to make your practice more efficient and profitable.

4)      Contribute to the Chiropractic Development Initiative (CDI).
If you’ve been a consistent contributor, thank you! If you don’t know what the
Chiropractic Development Initiative (CDI) is, it funds TCA’s advocacy (lobbying), legal defense and public relations initiatives. It’s the backbone of TCA’s efforts to protect the profession and we rely heavily on the generosity of chiropractors and other friends, both in Texas and across the country.

The timing is perfect for a CDI donation. Your CDI donation is tax-deductible as a business expense, which is a terrific tax write-off at the end of the year. Plus, it’s a gift to yourself as it fuels our efforts to make chiropractic in Texas stronger. While one-time contributions are appreciated, we highly recommend getting on monthly autodraft. The 100 x $100 Challenge is going on now! Learn more and contribute to CDI today!

If you are interested in any of these gifts, please call the TCA office at (512) 477-9292 or email [email protected] and a staff member will get back to you promptly.

We thank you for being part of the TCA family and value your contribution to the chiropractic profession.

Enjoy the last few weeks of 2017 with your loved ones. Wishing you a fantastic 2018!

Max Vige, DC
