Comedy for Chiros 2025 |
Comedy for Chiros, the Texas Chiropractic Association’s comedy show, is back, returning on Thursday, September 18, at The Riot Comedy Club (2010 Waugh Dr, Houston, TX 770066). The jokes will be plenty, with popular comics Jeff Joe and Son Tran taking the stage. Come for happy hour and food at 6:00 PM, followed by a hilarious 7:15 PM show.

Jeff Joe is a towering figure in Houston's standup comedy scene, figuratively and literally. Originally from Port Arthur, Jeff is also one of Houston's hardest-working comedians. Since the start of his career, he has been relentlessly hitting the stage with only one thing in mind, becoming one of the greats! And the greats are starting to ask for him: Jeff has opened for nationally known comedians such as Russell Peters, Donnell Rawlings and Shane Gillis. Jeff was recently featured on Russell Peter’s latest comedy special Russell Peters and Friends released on New Year’s Eve. |
Son Tran won the national Prize Fest Comedy Contest, was a two-time finalist competing as the Funniest Comic in Texas and won the Singapore International Comedy Contest. His comedy has been described as “deadly silly” – by himself. Son has immature yet philosophical insights on family, marriage and life in general that have made audiences laugh in clubs and festivals, such as Laughfest and the Limestone Comedy Festival, across the U.S. and Canada. Son has performed with such comics as TJ Miller, Doug Stanhope, Rob Schneider and Demetri Martin and entertained troops in Afghanistan. In addition to performing, Son was a regular writer on the Houston Sports Show and has written for the Discovery Channel. |
Also performing are Harrison Loftin and emcee Brian Gendron, comic and founder/CEO of The Riot Comedy Club.
