Lumbar Instability: The Missing Link in Low Back Pain Recovery (2 CE Hours)
Lumbar instability is one of the most commonly overlooked contributors to low back pain. Most of our palpatory and orthopedic tests identify a “problem segment,” and in most cases, that segment is hypomobile, responding well to adjustments and mobility-focused care. However, research shows that in more than half of chronic low-back-pain patients, the opposite is true: the painful segment is actually hypermobile. In these cases, adding motion won’t solve the problem, but stability will. This class delivers practical tools to help you distinguish when a segment needs mobility versus stability and how to tailor your care accordingly. You will learn the most accurate, evidence-supported tests for identifying instability and the simple, proven strategies that restore segmental control and function. Also covered arer essential assessments, treatments, and home rehab programs that empower patients to participate in their recovery, giving you a clear recipe to apply Monday morning. You will leave with real-world skills to manage even your most frustrating cases and position you as the go-to provider for lasting LBP relief.
