Back by popular demand, the Texas Chiropractic Association is reviving the TCA Tour of Texas, our grass-roots effort to reach every licensed doctor of chiropractic in Texas. The TCA Tour of Texas will stop at cities throughout Lone Star State over the next year. There’s no cost to attend a TCA Tour of Texas event, although a contribution to the Chiropractic Development Initiative (CDI), which funds TCA’s advocacy, legal and public relations efforts, or to the TCA Political Action Committee (TCA PAC) which is dedicated to getting pro-chiropractic candidates elected to public office in Texas.

The kick-off TCA Tour of Texas stop will be held in conjunction with the District 11 meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, November 16, at Sable Gate Winery in Midtown Houston (2600 Travis St., Ste. 104, Houston, TX 77006). To RSVP, email Dr. Alayna Pagnani.

Here are some of the reasons why you need to be there when the TCA Tour of Texas comes to your town:

1)      Get informed – The TCA Tour of Texas will bring you the latest legal and legislative updates from TCA executives, district leaders, lobbyists and legal team. This includes an overview of the 2017 Legislative Session, which included a record-setting four pro-chiropractic bills signed into law, plus an up-to-the-minute report on the appeal of the TMA vs. TBCE lawsuit, which threatens your right to treat anything neurological, including the subluxation complex.

2)      Share your voice – As a member-led organization, TCA values your input and we want to hear from you. Come to the Tour of Texas, get your questions answered, tell us what you want to see, and provide us with feedback, so we can build a stronger association for all chiropractors in Texas.

3)      Get to know your colleagues and have fun – The Tour of Texas isn’t all serious business. It’s an opportunity to network with your fellow Texas chiropractors in your own back yard. The more closely we know our community, the more powerful and effective we can be.

4)      Learn about TCA membership – If you’re a TCA member, you can discover how to maximize your membership. If you’re not a member, you can find out why it’s important that ALL Texas chiropractors should be a part of the TCA family.  Plus, you’ll meet TCA sponsors offering exclusive members-only discounts.

The TCA Tour of Texas schedule will be updated regularly under the Events section of the TCA website and dates will also be made available at www.facebook.com/TexasChiropracticAssociation. For more information, contact the TCA office at (512) 477-9292 or info@chirotexas.org
