Choose TCA for Your Continuing Education Hours

Happy New Year! Hope it was an enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Now it’s back to the business of chiropractic.

It won’t be long for many of you start thinking about your continuing education hours. Let’s face it! Earning CE hours can be drag. No one wants to sit in the classroom all day. That’s why online learning is so appealing to many.

We encourage you to consider the Texas Chiropractic Association when planning your CE hours in Texas. TCA is hosting three conferences in 2018. You won’t get the same boring lectures. Every event features an all-star line-up and some type of hands-on training. We’ve also included additional sessions to help your practice grow.

Check out these TCA events:

2018 Mid-Winter Conference

March 9-11, Overton Hotel & Conference Center, Lubbock

The Mid-Winter Conference is an annual tradition for Panhandle/West Texas chiropractors. We’re billing this year’s event as a family reunion for doctors in this part of the state, an opportunity to pull our community closer together. Dr. Dan Sullivan is the headliner and his keynote session, Philosophy Meets Science – The Power of a Chiropractic Adjustment, provides the evidence to sell chiropractic to your patients and the naysayers. Other speakers include Drs. Robert Fenell, Kurt Juergens, Eric Kaplan and Larry Montgomery covering topics such as upper extremity adjusting, spinal decompression, sports chiropractic and TBCE hours. Phyllis Frase-Charrette will provide top-notch training for your CA and staff and Keith Pendleton’s PI session is a must for any doctor interested in personal injury. Another highlight is a night out at FORE! Golf to benefit TCA’s Chiropractic Development Initiative (CDI). Check out the complete schedule for more info!

Register online by February 1 to take advantage of the early bird rate. Don’t forget to make your hotel reservations at the Overton.

2018 Texas Sports Chiropractic Conference

April 6-8, Texas Chiropractic College, Pasadena

If you’re treating high school, college, professional or recreational athletes, the Texas Sports Chiropractic Conference is one event you can’t miss. The inaugural conference includes double tracks, offering you plenty of options. Dr. Tom Hyde, considered the godfather of sports chiropractor, will show you How to Start a Sports Chiropractic Practice, in addition to covering The Knee: Common Injuries, Assessment and Treatment. Other speakers include Drs. Rhiannon Dickison, Ron Grabowski, Jake Harden, Jennifer Illes, Ti Pence, Robert Silverman, Todd Riddle and Michele Quattlebaum on topics ranging from concussions and extremity adjusting to women in sports, nutrition for optimal performance and how to use social media to build your practice. You also can complete the ASHI Basic Life Support class and send your staff to Kelli Moore’s Advanced Training for Office Managers and Experienced CAs. Check out the complete schedule!

Register online today! If you’re traveling from out of town, book your hotel stay at the nearby Home2 Suites by Hilton Houston Pasadena.

Chiro Texpo '18

June 8-10, Hyatt Regency Dallas, Dallas

Last year’s event was outstanding and we’re still finalizing details on Chiro Texpo ‘18. Dr. Dan Sullivan has committed and his keynote, It’s All About the Brain: Research and Science on the Influence of a Chiropractic Adjustment, is sure to impress. We’re also excited to launch the Women’s Chiropractic Summit featuring Dr. Danielle Eaton.

Registration will open soon. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!

If any of these events appeal, you may consider upgrading to a Premium or Elite  Membership, both of which include your CE hours in the price of membership. Contact the TCA office at (512) 477-9292 for more details.

You have lots of choices for your CE hours. We hope you choose TCA. Giving us your business helps TCA continue to fight for chiropractic in Texas.

Thanks for being a member and see you at a TCA conference soon!
