LETTER OF REPRIMAND AND COMPLIANCE ORDER

The TBCE issued seven letters of reprimand.  Three letters of reprimand for failure to notify the Board of a change of address; one for failing to respond to Board inquiries and to comply with a Board order (also required to take and pass the Jurisprudence exam); one for failure to notify the Board of a criminal conviction; one for engaging in deceptive advertising; one agreed final order to create and provide a compliance plan for failing to differentiate his businesses. 

CEASE AND DESIST ORDER

The TBCE issued 30 Cease and Desist Orders for operation of unregistered or expired facility registration, or expired license; one for practicing without a license; one for expired facility registration who was also required to pass the Ethics and Boundaries Assessment Services (EBAS) essay exam for committing deception and/or fraud; and one who must pass EBAS essay exam, sit for the Texas Jurisprudence Examination, and license suspension with probation until 2019, and ordered to attend Alcoholic Anonymous meetings.

FINES

The TBCE issued three fines for $250, one for failure to notify the Board of a change of address, one for failing to maintain records, one for failing to differentiate a facility from another business;  two $500 fines for failing to respond to Board inquiries; eight fines of $1000, three for failing to respond to Board inquires, and five for maintaining unsanitary or unsafe conditions; one $1500 fine for lack of diligence and allowing an unlicensed to practice; one $2000 fine for failing to respond to Board inquiries.

LICENSE REVOCATION

One license revocation was issued for conviction of a felony.
