Why Can’t We Just Forget About Medicine and Just Do Our Own Thing? Inferior Status

For those who promote “Let’s forget organized medicine and just do our own thing,” what will you do about those who espouse the following policies?

Comment:  You know that provision in the Affordable Care Act that the American Chiropractic Association worked so hard to achieve so that insurance companies would have to pay the same wages for the same service?  Well,  the AMA will seek "repeal of the non-physician provider non-discrimination provisions of the ACA.  AMA will immediately direct sufficient funds toward a multi-pronged campaign to accomplish these goals.  In the eyes of organized medicine, you should be paid less money for the same work.

Excerpt:  AMA will develop a policy statement clearly stating this organization’s policies on the following aspects of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and healthcare reform:  Repeal the non-physician provider non-discrimination provisions of the ACA.  AMA will immediately direct sufficient funds toward a multi-pronged campaign to accomplish these goals.
