Get Ready for ICD-10 Transition at August 1 Workshop Sponsored by TCA, ACA
Friday, July 10, 2015 09:00 PM

Are you concerned about the ICD-10 compliance deadline coming up October 1, 2015? Contrary to what you’ve heard, the transition from ICD-9 to ICD-10 likely won’t be delayed. If you’re not ready, it could be a disaster for your practice … costly delays or denials that could impact your clinic’s cash flow or cut down your reimbursements.

But you can avoid the headaches by signing up for an ICD-10 training workshop hosted by the Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA) in conjunction with the American Chiropractic Association (ACA).

The Basics to Billing Workshop: ICD-10 Training for the Chiropractic Office will take place at two venues:

HOUSTON
Saturday, July 25, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

DALLAS

Saturday, August 1, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Register online or complete and return the registration form by July 18.

Why should you be there?

1) This workshop is the finest training you’ll find anywhere on the new ICD-10 code. The course was developed by ACA’s Codes Committee and the two Texas workshops will be taught by Kevin Sharp, DC, one of only three trainers approved by ACA. You can’t possibly learn everything you need in a one-hour webinar … get hands-on training from the leading experts in the chiropractic profession.

2) Be a leader” for your practice. Show up and learn about the new codes and bring your team along with you. TCA is offering group discounts if you register additional staff, including Chiropractic Assistant. By including your staff, you will make their jobs easier and it will keep you from making costly mistakes.

3) Earn five hours of continuing education credit from the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners (TBCE) to maintain your Texas license.

4) After class, stick around to network with other doctors in the Greater Houston area. There will be a district meeting afterwards, so you can get to know your fellow DCs and learn more about TCA.

If you’re not a TCA member, join today … you’ll save $100 off your registration fee and you’ll support your state association in its efforts to protect the chiropractic profession in Texas.

Got a question about the workshop? Call the TCA office at (512) 477-9292 or email acct@chirotexas.org.

I hope to see you in Houston or Dallas. Have a great summer!
