March 2012 News
2012 is off to a great start! We contributed the most to our Defense Fund down in Austin and continue to provide Dallas Area DCs with the most current information regarding the lawsuit. Our Quarterly Meeting was a great success and our elections brought some new leaders to the group to help make 2012 the Year for Chiropractic!
1st Annual Tom Klesmit Award was presented to Dr. Klesmit at the last Quarterly Meeting.
This was a huge honor for the District 5 Family to be able to recognize Dr. Tom and the Klesmit Family. He has invested so much time and energy into District 5 and this award will continue to honor him for years to come. All of the future recipients of this award will be chiropractors who show the passion and dedication to the profession like Dr. Tom Klesmit has shown.
Dr. Ann Klesmit announced at the presentation that Dr. Tom's illness has progressed and he is currently in hospice care at his home in Heath, TX. We were blessed that he was able to attend the meeting and ask that all fellow members please pray for Tom and his family.
Election Were Held - On February the 21st some New and Excited Leaders were elected into office for the TCA District 5! These new officials will bring some new energy to our District and continue to propel the momentum we have achieved over the years.

The TCA is made up of fellow chiropractors who want to protect our right to practice in this great State of Texas. Recently times have been difficult for all. We need to gather and support each other and remind ourselves why we love what we do. The District 5 Officers are all volunteers who are in active practice and we work very hard to put together these events for our peers.
